OUR PROJECTS

Our projects are based at the University of Manchester and include:
 

•  Curating an online Resource Bank to provide alternative, more diverse, reading for economics students

•  Running a mentoring scheme to connect female undergraduates with scholars, professional economists and careers consultants ( 2019)

•  Raising awareness of the lack of diversity in the economics discipline and the benefits to be had from addressing it (see our twitter timeline)

• Putting on regular Open Meetings for students to hear from diverse economists, their work and their experience of diversity in the discipline (see our highlights)​

• Running workshops in which attendees are actively encouraged to share their thoughts regarding diversity and the society which we use to improve ourselves

We also hold socials regularly- these will be virtual this year but we'll try to make them as fun as we can!
