OUR PROJECTS
Our projects are based at the University of Manchester and include:
-
Curating an online Resource Bank to provide alternative, more diverse, reading for economics students
-
Running a mentoring scheme to connect female undergraduates with scholars, professional economists and careers consultants ( 2019)
-
Raising awareness of the lack of diversity in the economics discipline and the benefits to be had from addressing it (see our twitter timeline)
-
Putting on regular Open Meetings for students to hear from diverse economists, their work and their experience of diversity in the discipline (see our highlights)
-
Running workshops in which attendees are actively encouraged to share their thoughts regarding diversity and the society which we use to improve ourselves

We also hold socials regularly- these will be virtual this year but we'll try to make them as fun as we can!
Follow our social media accounts or email us if you would like to find out about future projects, events, and all other opportunities!
